Letter (with cover) from a Japanese-American student, ca. age 14, presumably to her teacher, describing her life and surroundings in the Tanforan Assembly Center. Included with the letter is a pencil drawing (19 x 27 cm.) of barrack 32, in which the Yamazaki family was lodged. There are several references in the letter to details in the drawing.
